The House of Wool offers individual workshops in knitting and crochet for all skill levels.
The House of Wool presents a variety of workshops in knitting - learning cables; lace knitting; sock knitting; knitting in the round; beginner knitting; cast-on/cast-off techniques; and sewing up your finished garment. If you have a particular technique that you want to master, give us a call and we will arrange a workshop for you.
Crochet workshops for beginners offer a choice of learning several stitches with a granny square pattern or a hat project. Both choices will teach you how to read the written and symbolic pattern so that you can conquer other projects.
Each workshop is personally modified so that you gain the most out of them. These workshops can be booked for a weekend that suits you.
The cost is $15 per person, per half hour, unless otherwise specified. In all workshops, cost of materials are extra.
Spinning workshops for both beginner spinners and more skilled spinners are held on a fortnightly basis at The House of Wool. Our expert spinning teacher, Susanne, has a wealth of knowledge and skills that she happily shares with you throughout the workshops. These workshops run from 10am through to 12pm and cost $45. Additional costs can arise as you explore different fibres throughout your spinning journey with Susanne.
